20104 - Cloth Harness Wrapping Tape - (1roll)
Sold in single 15M x 19mm rolls or in bundles of 10 rolls.
Our cloth harness tape is the same tape OEMs currently use to wrap their harnesses in.
Cloth tape offers features that PVC tape can't.
Also used to eliminate creaking or squeaking sounds such as those made by rubbing trim panels and clips etc.
Features:
- Contains no lead compounds and complies with RoHS standards
- Won't produce Dioxins when burnt
- Stitch bond, non-woven polyester fabric wont unravel
- Elongation 15% (max.) to provide easy tear off without deformation. PVC is best cut to avoid deformation.
- Better flexibility over a greater a temperature range up to +150o C. PVC gets less pliable in cold temperatures and is only stable up to 1050 C
- Allows the harness to breath
- 0.3mm thick and does not leave a sticky residue behind or when unwrapped
- Better abrasion resistance than PVC tapes. Meets VW60360 Class A
- Better aesthetics - matt black finish. Better blends in with or matches OEM harness finish
- Many times lighter than PVC
